Transcriptionists and translators play a key role in the day-to-day operations of government, law enforcement, corporations and organizations. American High-Tech Transcription is looking for motivated, hard-working and dedicated transcriptionists and translators.
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
- You must be able to pass FBI and state police criminal background checks with fingerprints, at your own expense, or provide evidence of recent federal security clearances.
- You must be a native English speaker
- Translators must be certified in their language through either a state or federal court interpreter's program, ATA, ATLA, ACTFL, or other certifying agency. Proof of current certification is required. Preference is given to those with DHS security clearances.
- You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
We do not hire beginners or students pursuing other fields of study. We seek experienced transcriptionists and translators only.
Due to a very large volume of inquiries, we do not keep resumes on file and we do not accept phone call inquiries.

2. Foreign Language Translators needed:
Looking to hire Translators for the following foreign languages:
Spanish, Arabic, Cambodian, Creole, Hebrew, Korean, Patois, Vietnamese, Chinese.
Independent contractors must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the U.S. Independent contractors, on some projects, will be required to have Department of Homeland Security clearances and must be willing to work on a secure computer at a secure office location near their home. Other projects which have no security requirements can be sent directly to your own home.
Contact our office via email for a list of acceptable certifications required. Applicant must provide copies of any certifications, testing (including scores) and/or proficiency ratings. All test scores, clearances and certs must be within the last five years. If you can't provide evidence of current court certification or test results, we cannot use your services. Our company may consider paying for on-line testing through ALTA for certain languages.
