American High-Tech Transcription, Inc., accepts inquiries via email only. We outsource work on a daily basis to independent contractors. All applicants must undergo a fingerprint criminal background check. All English transcriptionists must be native speakers of English.

Looking for Independent Contractors for:
1. General Transcription work (interviews, police reports, conference work, etc.) Must be available during normal business hours. We currently have sufficient coverage during evenings and weekends.
2. Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian, Creole translators and transcriptionists. NOT ADDING NEW CONTRACTORS AT THIS TIME. Must be certified by a state court interpreter's program, hold a university degree in translation or hold ATA or federal certification. Online test is required for Spanish work.
Due to very large volume of inquiries, we do not keep resumes on file.
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND: You must be able to pass FBI and state police criminal background checks with fingerprints, at your own expense. You must be a native English speaker, (unless you are applying for translation work and then you must also be completely fluent in the languages you are certified in as well as in English.) We do not hire beginners or students. We seek experienced transcriptionists only.
